Horizontal Flow Wrapping Machine
High-speed, automated packaging equipment engineered for bakery, confectionery, medical products, and solid industrial items.
High-Efficiency Horizontal Packaging Solutions
Spartan Machine Co., Ltd. provides robust Horizontal Flow Wrapping Machines (HFFS) designed to modernize production workflows for global manufacturing facilities. Engineered to handle high-speed demands while maintaining precision heat sealing, our HFFS systems deliver tight, protective wrap for individual products and grouped items alike.
Heavy Load Compatibility
The continuous horizontal conveyor bed ensures stable transport for larger, delicate, or heavier solid items without disturbing product arrangement.
High-Output Capability
Delivers production speeds from 15 up to 200 bags per minute, matching intensive industrial throughput requirements for continuous operation.
Rapid Maintenance
Modular assembly allows quick disassembly for sanitary washdown, film changeover, and seal jaw adjustments, minimizing factory downtime.
How the Horizontal Flow Wrapping Process Works
Understanding the mechanical flow ensures efficient line integration. Our horizontal packaging machinery automates film forming, product insertion, and longitudinal sealing in one smooth cycle.
1. Controlled Infeed Loading
Products are fed manually or via integrated automatic smart belts onto the push-lug chain conveyor, establishing exact pitch timing.
2. Film Tube Formation
Roll film is drawn over a custom-machined forming collar, wrapping continuously around the product to create a snug film tube.
3. Fin & End Sealing
Rotary or box-motion heated jaws crimp and cut the film tube, creating liquid-tight end seals while continuous bottom fins complete the pack.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which products are best suited for horizontal flow wrapping?
Horizontal flow wrapping (HFFS) is designed for solid items that maintain their shape during horizontal conveying. Typical applications include baked goods (cookies, snack cakes, bread loaves), confectionery bars, medical supplies (disposable masks, diagnostic cards), and industrial components.
Can gas flushing (MAP) be added to the flow wrapper?
Yes. Spartan Machine Co., Ltd. offers integrated nitrogen gas injection systems (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). Injecting inert gas during tube formation minimizes oxygen content inside the sealed pouch, significantly prolonging product shelf life.
How long does a product or bag size changeover take?
Our HFFS equipment features tool-less adjusting guides, digital recipe storage via Siemens PLC touchscreens, and quick-change forming boxes. Standard product dimension adjustments can be completed in under 15 minutes by trained operators.
What warranty and remote technical assistance are provided?
All machinery built by Spartan Machine Co., Ltd. includes a 12-month standard warranty from the receipt date. Overseas technical assistance is available through direct video consultation, remote electrical diagnostics, and expedited spare parts dispatch.
